July 7th – Lu Allgood will bring her recipes and suggestions for cooking and eating for one.

July 14th – Norma Pitzer and friends will entertain us with a piano concert.

July 21st – Paul and Stella Richter will show us the rich history available in stamps.

July 28th – TBA

August 4th – Steve Walton will talk about his “figures.”  Just click here to see some examples.

August 11th – Lu will be returning to try some more favorites on cooking for one.

Women of Georgia

Women of Georgia

This class will discuss women and their roles at various eras in Georgia history.  For each era Frances Harrold will talk about a particular woman in detail, while at the same time describing the overall character of women’s issues for that period.

Spirituality Series—Feeding the Spirit by Giving Back

We feed our spirits with so much more than prayer and scripture.  In these six sessions we will have speakers who can tell us all the ways we can give back (not just with money) to make a difference.  We will be using a model from the book and website – “I Like Giving.”  More details are coming soon!!

Then representatives from the AAA office on Roswell Road will provide us with four interesting sessions.  They will include information on all types of cruises, discuss regional destinations, describe their National Park tours and discuss the mysteries of Alaska.  We will end with our own again, telling us about their specific trips.
